Castle comedy A further series of the comedy starring Roy Castle with support from Jacqueline Clarke, Mike Burton and Eli Woods. The 8.8.C.’s Light Entertainment senior producer, Stan Stancliffe, claims it has always been an experience to listen to discussions between writer and artists in the field of comedy and to hear them develop words created by the writer into the humour suited to a particular, artist. “At the end of the day, with two programmes in the bag, I return to my hotel and rarely sleep before 3 or 4 a.m.,”. he remarked. “My mind is full of what has gone on during the day, a day of fun, working with some of the nicest people I know.” National, 8.00 p.m.
