‘No halting road’
Blenheim reporter
An injunction granted in the District Court at NelsOn on Monday seeking to restrain Rainbow Ski-field Developments, Ltd, from constructing road access to the proposed Six Mile Basin Skifield in the Rainbow State forest will not halt progress on the road, according to Mr D. C. Holden, a spokesman for the company. The company has now received the injunction which seeks to prevent it from moving over pastoral lease land. Mr Holden said that as the company was not moving over the pastoral lease, there was no reason why work on the road should , not continue
and. that it would, in fact, do so. .
