M.P.s sent anti-tour badges
PA Wellington HART, the anti-apar-theid organisation, has sent every government member .of Parliament a Stop the tour badge to wear at the opening of Parliament tomorrow.
By wearing the badges, members could show the public their opposition to the Springbok tour, said HART’s national chairman, Ms Pauline McKay yesterday.
She said that badge wearers would demonstrate to the Rugby Union meeting today their support for the efforts of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Mr Taiboys) to defend and implement the Gleneagles Agreement.
