Commodore on top
Holden's Commodore has been the most, preferred car in New Zealand for the last seven months.
New car registration figures for the last three months of 1980 and the first three months of 1981 show that sales of four and six cylinder Commodores totalled 3750 units to head, off Ford'-s Cortina range total of 3496 and Todd's Mirage at 3096. Provisional results for April indicate that the Commodore retained its place as: the best selling model in New Zealand.
In addition, the two-litrc Commodore 4 was again the highest selling car in the competitive two-litre class in March with 534 units tc Cortina's 482.
