Furniture exports increased

PA Wellington Increases of about $2 million in the value of exports of furniture components to Australia under duty free provisions are permitted in the July-June trading year under a N.A.F.T.A. arrangement. Announcing details of the arrangement under the N.A.F.T.A. schedule B provision, the Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr AdamsSchneider) said that New Zealand exports to Australia would be set at a level of ?A7,250,000 and imports of built furniture and components from Australia would amount to $NZ7,085,000.
