The makers of Skidaddle, a new British powersurfer, claim that the craft is more versatile than a surfboard and more exciting than water ski-ing. The craft has only one control, a hand-held grip attached to the throttle which is squeezed to lift the craft into a planing position. Skidaddle has a top speed of about 40 km/h, and is said to be unsinkable.
