Wedding task for P.M.’s son
NZPA London Mark Thatcher, the British Prime Minister’s son, is planning to cash in on the royal wedding, as an expert on politics. Along with several other personalities, including actor Robert Morley, he has signed up with a London firm called VIP Entertainments, the London “Daily Mail” has reported. Americans are being charged up to $B4OO for a
week of tours and royal celebrations. According to VIP Entertainments director, Phillip Hughes, Mark is a personality in his own right. Writes “Daily Express” columnist William Hickey: “Mark’s task will be to troop gawping Americans around the House of Commons and to deliver a lecture on parliamentary procedure, a subject on which few people had previously realised he was a living expert.”
