Leader ‘furious’
PA Nelson The Leader of the sition (Mr Rowling) said yeste: lay he was furious with a Sunday newspaper report that he had collapsed, exhausted and trembling, after his speech to the Labour Party Conference in Wellington last week. Mr Rowling said from his home in Richmond that he was seeking legal advice over the story.
“Never in.my life, have I been so angry,” he said. “It is just so far from the truth. I have never been fitter in my life.” > •. i During the week-end Mr Rowling held meetings in his sprawling . Tasman electorate. He held further meetings yesterday and he took part in a radio programme yesterday morning. “That doesn’t sound like the workl- d of a sick man, does it?”
