A Maori carver, Mr Ricki Manuel, chisels a poupou (traditional war panel) as part of an International Museum Day display at the Canterbury Museum yesterday. Mr Manuel studied at the Maori Arts Craft. School in Rotorua for three years and is now living in Christchurch.
