Boy injured
A boy, aged 11, was in Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries yesterday after he had been struck by a car on the Old Stock Route on Banks Peninsula. The boy is believed! to have been herding cattle near the Hilltop Hotel when he was knocked down a banla by the car about 6.15 p.m. A St John Ambulance spokesman said that the boy had moderate to serious injuries, including internal injuries.
The boy’s name was noB available late last evening.
