A Llama helicopter lifts one of 11 towers being erected for the Amuri Ski Club’s Poma on-demand platter lift on the slopes of Mount St Patrick. The lift, obtained second-hand from a Mount Ruapehu field, will be ready for use in time for this winter’s ski-ing season. It provides access to the top of Mount St Patrick, which is more than 1800 metres.
