Literary grants announced
t-/i Wellington The Minister for the Arts (Mr Highet) has announced Literary Fund grants totalling almost $12,000. The grants are to literary magazines, writers, and publishers. and result from applications to the Literary Fund Advisory Committee over the last two months;
Literary magazines: $2066 to Mr Robin Dudding for the double issue of Islands 31/22; $l7l to Mr Graham Lindsay for Morepork 4. Writers: 52000 to Joy Cowley of Wellington to enable her to complete an historical novel: $l2OO to Craig Thaine of Wellington to enable him to work on two plays with the New Zealand Drama School during its second term.
Publishers: $l5OO to Dunmore .Press for the reprinting of “Predicament’' by Ronald .-Morrieson: $5OO to Caveman Fra: 52000 to Joy Cowlev of Wellington to enablV her .;'to . complete an historical novel; $l2OO to Craig Th'aine of 'Wellington to enable him to work on two
