Children’s art
Television New Zealand is sponsoring a children’s touring art exhibition to mark the 21st birthday of television in this country.
Art and craftwork has been submitted by art advisers throughout the country and consists of work by pre-schoolers, primary, • intermediate and secondary school pupils. More than 200 pieces will be on display at 13 venues in the North and South Islands. The exhibition will be opened in Auckland on May 18 by the World President of Education Through Art (Mr Jack Condous). Mr Condous has asked that the exhibition be sent to Rotterdam in August for the 24th International Society for Education Through Art World Congress. The exhibition will be displayed at the Christchurch Town Hall from September 5 to 15.
