Carrot ferns
Plant a carrot top in water and watch it grow a delicate green fern to decorate your room in winter.
This Is What You Do:
Cut a piece off the top off a fresh carrot about scm thick. Stand it in a shallow bowl of water, cut side down. Stand the bowl on a sunny window sill. Add w’ater from time to time and see that the bowl is never dry.
