Victims improving
*■ A Picton man involved in a fatal head-on collision eight km north of Cheviot on Saturday was still on the Seriously ill list at Christchurch Hospital last evening. “ Stephen Thomas Visser, aged 21, suffered serious iqad and lower limb injuries jut was reported to be /fairly comfortable.” < ■'Also injured in the crash were Martin Coram, of
Christcnurch, who was reported to be fairly comfortable, and Christopher Bain, of Blenheim, who was in a satisfactory condition at the hospital last evening. A woman seriously injured when two cars collided at the intersection of Papanui Road and Bealey Avenue on Saturday evening was reported to be improving at the hospital. Elaine Scott, of Motueka, suffered serious head and lower limb injuries.
