A 12ba farmlet in Wards Road, Tai Tapu, was passed in at auction on Friday for $94,000 and was sold immediately afterwards for an undisclosed sum. There was no Government valuation available for the property because it has been part of a larger block. Buildings on the land include a weatherboard cottage, about 65 years old, with an iron roof, two bedrooms and a separate diningroom with a fireplace. According to the auctioneer, Mr C. F. Hooper, of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Real Estate, the house is in good repair. Outbuilding include a hayshed, workshop, a : onestand woolshed, fowl house and stock yards.
