Parklands centre open

The sl-million Parklands shopping centre was opened yesterday by the member of Parliament for Rangiora (Mr D. F. Quigley). The 16-shop complex and Post Office was developed by Prime Projects, Ltd. and built by Kenneth James. Ltd. It is sited situated on the corner of Queenspark Drive and Chadbury. Street. Most of the shops in the complex opened last Tuesday. More than 100 people attended the opening. Other speeches were given by the chairman of the Waimairi County Council (Mr D. B. Rich) and Mr K. Weaver, for the developers.
