This fellowship is intended to provide a young graduate with an opportunity to engage in research and also to assist with patient care and teaching relevant to the research. It is for one year but may be reveiwed for further periods each of a j: year to a maximum of three' years. The value of the Fel-j lowship will depend on the qualifications and seniority of the Registrars in the Health Services. Applicants should give a comprehensive Curriculum vitae, indicate their research interest and the department of the Christchurch Hospital in which they wish to hold the Fellowship, and the names and addresses of three referees from whom a confidential report can be ob-j tained.
