DAIRY INDUSTRY TRAINING COUNCIL EXECUTIVE OFFICER A person with proven skills is sought to lead the Dairy Industry Training Council. Since the establishment of the Council five years ago, considerable progress has been made in developing organised training systems within the dairy industry. Council operations are based on support of a network of training officers that has been established throughout the industry. Continuation and strengthening of this role is a major objective of the Council. Current activities include an industry-wide human resources survey which will provide a basis for planning of future training requirements. Applications are sought from appropriately qualified and experienced persons with initiative, the ability to motivate themselves and others, excellent communication skills and good organisational ability.- Some knowledge of and experience in the dairy industry would be advantageous but is not essential. The position is based in Wellington, and a willingness to travel extensively within New Zealand is essential. An attractive salary, use of car and other benefits attached to this position will be discussed at interview.
