Botha visit
The South African Foreign Minister (Mr Pik. Botha) will visit the Secretary of State (Mr Alexander Haig) on May 14 to discuss the Reagan Administration’s emerging policy on Africa, the State Department has said. A spokesman said the one-day visit would provide an opportunity for the two Governments to discuss matters affecting Southern Africa, as well as bilateral issues. He said the trip did not signify the Administration had completed its African policy review but was a continuation of consultations with African leaders begun earlier this month by the Assistant Secretary of State-designate, Chester Crocker.—Washington.
