On The Blink was sold on /behalf of the Landsdowne ‘ Stud, Bulls, and was .purchased by .Messrs R, Moore /and D. G. Hill, of Pa : pakura. not race. Other notable sales were 1 ’.527,500 .for Nafah, an Eng* lish-bred nt are by Sing Sing ? in foal to Taipan 11, $25,000 ’ for Prim Leigh (Primed—Kathleigh) in foal to Roval Noble, and $23,000 for Primtif, another by Primed from Clarello, and also in foal to Royal Noble.

Mr and Mrs R. Vincent, of Matamata, refused a final bid of $38,000 for their Sovereign Edition — Golden Dream mare Free Edition, in foal to Balmerino. Another specially notable passing was the $65,000 which was not sufficient to secure the Sovereign Edition stallion Sovereign Ruler, which was offered for sale by Mr R. K. Parkinson, Cambridge. A chestnut colt by Amyntor from the same family as the former outstanding gallope.', Mop, fetched $25,000 at the National Weanling Sale. The colt is one of the second crop of his sire, which stands at the Fairdale Stud, Palmerston North. His dam, Tunes of Glory, is by Ardistaan from Mary Poppins.- Besides Mop, other good winners from this same family have been Top of tht Pops, Queen of the Pops, Gaelic Spirit and Giovanni.
