SALES MANAGER CAXTON PAPER MILLS LIMITED KAWERAU An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified person to manage the Sales activities of our Kawerau based Company. The position is based at Kawerau and calls for a person with proven management experience and leadership abilities in the sales field, preferably from within the Pulp and Paper Industry who has the ability to meet a diverse and challenging market situation. The successful applicant will join the senior management team and will have specific responsibility for the management of the sales staff covering domestic and export markets. The appointee will be expected to develop a close and effective working relationship with the Operations Manager, the Financial Controller and the Market Research Officer. Beyond the supervision of New Zealand Sales, the position embraces the supervision of Australian Sales through the Australian Sales Manager and export sales in numerous countries bordering the Pacific Basin. Substantial travel is required within New Zealand and overseas. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will be in the 30 to 40 years age group and preferably having sound formal qualifications appropriate for the position. The position carries a generous remuneration package, including the provision of a Company vehicle and superannuation, fully commensurate with the demands and importance of the job.
