MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT FLETCHER STEEL CHRISTCHURCH AREA We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our management team operating in a highly competitive and profit orientated industry. Our Division operates as a largely autonomous unit and is based in the Hornby area. We are seeking an individual who, as part of the management team, will become involved in all aspects of our business as well as meeting specifically agreed objectives. The business has a broad base of operation in:— ★ Merchandising/indenting ★ Manufacturing ★ Contracting The total turnover is significant, thus the position corries a high level of responsibility. The Accountant, reporting to the Area Manager, will be responsible for:— ★ Day by day financial reporting incorporating bi-annual formal accounting balance timetable. ★ Monthly management reports ★ Control of credit management ★ Control of costing ★ Control of all general administrative, commercial and secretarial matters within the framework of the Holding Company's policies. A well trained and experienced support team reports through to the Accountant and assists with the many aspects of the accounting function.
