Extensive petroleum exploration and production experience would be an advantage, together with a successful management record. ASSISTANT EXHORATION MANAGER The appointee will be responsible to and assist the Exploration Manager in co-ordinating the Company s exploration programme through the Chief Geologist and Chief Geophysicist. A relevant degree and some fifteen years of experience in all phases of oil and gas exploration is required. CHIEF GEOLOGIST . The appointee will be responsible to the Exploration Manager for supervision-and development of all geological requirements and recommendations, with the assistance ot existing geologists. A relevant degree and at least ten years experience in petroleum geology are essential. SENIOR GEOLOGIST , , r , The appointee will be responsible to the Chief Geologist, and will supervise geological activities relating to studies and drilling activities. PETROLEUM GEOPHYSICIST The incumbent will be responsible to the Chief Geophysicist relating to the geophysical aspects of the Company s exploration and development programmes. PRODUCTION ENGINEER This position which will be initially for a period of two years Will report direct to the General Manager, and will be responsible for the direction of specialised consultant activities. including feasibility studies and detailed design, followed by management and co-ordination of construction activities for the development of the McKee field. A relevant equivalent qualifications and a minimum of .ten years experience in the development of oil and gas produclion is essential OPERATIONS ENGINEER b /The functions of this position, which reports to tne General 'Manager, are quite broad, including offshore activities but with emphasis on planning and direction of onshore wildcat and production drilling, including both technical and administrative aspects, to achieve optimum effectiveness. Professional qualifications are a requirement, supplemented by substantial training and a minimum of ten years experience in the petroleum field.
