Fulbright award
A senior lecturer in entomology at Lincoln College, Dr David Penman, has been
awarded a Fulbright research scholarship. One of five or six scholarships given each year within New Zealand, the Fulbright award will enable him to spend time at the New York Agricultural Experiment Station, where he will study
pest control systems. The centre is run in association with Cornell University.
In July Dr Penman will leave New York to spend six months at Oregon State University on a staff exchange scheme. In return, Lincoln College will have a visit from the professor of entomology at Oregon, Dr Ralph Berry.
