Market recovers
Share prices recovered in busy, mixed trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, after retreating in the previous two sessions because of profit-taking, N.Z. Forest products regained 2c in active trading, and Fletcher Challenge was steady at 275 c. However, New Zealand South British was off 1c at 107. Phillipps and Impey firmed 4c to 192 c on its excellent latest result, but Computer Consultants lost 5c to 270 c on profit-taking after price increases on its recent yearly report. Arthur Ellis lifted off its recent base price of 40c as market interest seems to have increased around the issue in the past few days.
