Racist rugby opposed
A rugby match demonstrating opposition to this year’s Springbok tour was played at the University of Canterbury at the week-end.
A rugby team against the tour beat, 18-15, by antiapartheid XV. Organised by Students Against the Tour, the match was meant to show that tour critics were not against rugby, but only against “racist” rugby, a spokesman said.
