Road victim identified
The Auckland police have identified a young woman killed when she was hit by a car as she walked along the southern motorway on Monday evening. She was Hilda Parangi, aged 21, of Otara Road, Otara. The accident had occurred at 10.45 p.m. as Miss Parangi tried to cross the motorway from near the Ellerslie racecourse.
