Record-equalling round
A'record equalling round of 69 by Gary Maw won him the Hororata golf open at the Hororata club's course on Sunday. Maw’s afternoon round equalled the record held by Stuart Oliver, a member of the club. Maw won the tournament by three strokes from the leader after the morning round, Neil Reid. A feature of the tournament was
