Woman killed in accident
A Christchurch woman was killed when the car in which she was travelling left the road near Darfield yesterday afternoon. She was: Lorraine Cawthorn, aged 46, of Grahams Road. Two other occupants of the car were admitted to Christchurch Hospital with head and back injuries. The extent of their injuries was not known late last evening. Another two occupants were uninjured. The car veered off State Highway 73 about skm west of Darfield, and rolled several times. '
