Rural bank change
Wellington Reporter The deputy chairman of the Rural Bank and Finance Corporation, Sir William Dunlop, will retire on May 1. He will be succeeded by the national president of Federated Farmers, Mr A. F. Wright, as the producer director of the corporation from the South Island. Sir William is a former national president of Federated Farmers and former president of North Canterbury Federated Farmers. He was a founder director of the corporation when it was established in 1974. He was a sheep and cropping farmer in, North Canterbury for man- years before retiring to Christchurch two years ago: ■ . - Mr Wright.is now nearing the end or his fourty annual term as,national president of Federated Partners/ ‘and is also a former president of North Canterbury Federated Farmers. ; He' farms a property near Sheffield that carries sheep and cattle and crops.
