Sugar Ray Leonard stopped fifth ranked Larry Bonds with two quick rights in the tenth round of their scheduled 15 round bout last night in New York, to retain his World Boxing Council (W.8.C.) welterweight title. The victory left Leonard with a professional record of 29-1. —(P.A.)
