Protest at cattle breeder meeting
Sir,—Can HART explain the 'validity of its protest yesterday when members appeared at the Town Hall where 600 breeders of Angus cattle had gathered from throughout the world to discuss their mutual interests in a breed of cattle? Apart from their interest and their investment being in black cattle, and even though the president of the Angus Breeders does come from South Africa, your readers would have difficulty in finding the purpose of the protest demonstration. It was just a futile activity by a group of people who are weakening any case they may have pertaining to racial tours.— Yours, e
