Park well placed
Lancaster Park appears to hold all the high cards after two days of the A.N.Z. Bank Christchurch club cricket grand final, which will -be completed at Lancaster Park today. After some anxious moments, Park achieved a firstinnings advantage of 44 runs. St Albans had reached 69 for two in its second innings by stumps last Sunday. The position is very comfortable for Park, which does not need anything more than the first-innings victory it has already gained to win “The Press” pennant for the first time since 1973-74. On the other hand, St Albans must chase a far more productive scoring rate in a bid to set Park a tempting target later in 1 the day. I
