Social Credit policy

Sir,—l hasten to comment on J. F. Garvey’s random criticism of Social Credit’s financial and economic policy. Mr Garvey says that voters dissatisfied with the National Government, and fearful of another shambles under a Labour Gbvermrient, would be wise to examine critically the implications of an untried the-

ory. Surely Mr Garvey is aware that the economic and financial policy (the same administered under both National and Labour) has been sorely tried and found wanting, and it is this policy that is on trial, and not the policy as ■ advocated by Social Credit. Mr Garvey should giVe one sound! reason to qualify his censure of, Social Credit’s policy; on the other hand I can give manyi reasons why the National-La-' hour concept of financial and economic administration has been a failure, and will continue to be so, until a more sane policy is introduced and put to the test as advocated by Social Credit—Yours, etc., .-J ALLEN FRAMPTON-- } March 24, 1981.
