Clarke at helm again
Gary Clarke, who coached the Canterbury rugby league team to an unbeaten record last season, will again guide the province’s first XIII this year.
The Canterbury A selection panel is also unchanged,
and consists of Harry Walker (convener), John Flanagan, and Clarke. Canterbury B, also undefeated in 1980, once more has Ray Heffenden as coach, and he is joined as co-selec-tor by Walker (convenor) and Bruce Towart.
