NZPA-Reuter ■ ■ Moscow Soviet television has ac-' cused Washington of plott- 1 ing a United States military ’ intervention in El Salvador 1 and said nearly 800 Ameri- < can troops had reportedly entered the strife-torn coun-' try. - According to National Liberation Front rebels “nearly 800 American soldiers and officers, and troops of the special-task Rangers 'are quartered in a farmer school,” it said. ' ; The American Secretary of State (Mr Alexander -Haig) said in Washington that A m e r j can “technical advisers” may be sent to help the Salvadoran military, but no combat advisers. “Pravda” said yesterday the documents used by the United States Government to support allegations of Soviet Bloc arms shipments to the Leftist guerrillas were riddles and puzzles that smacked of / Central Intelligence Agency falsification. The newspaper said that when journalists examined the white paper they found the text to be real puzzles and riddles . . . for the most part photocopies of some handwritten pages from writing pads. “Most frequently the barely legible notes have neither beginning .nor end.;. Who wrote' them? Unknown..; To whom? «- Unclear. About what? Here one needs to have a rich imagination. Fantastic documents indeed.”
