The Canterbury eighth’ grade cricket team easily beat a Suburban third-grad® side in a representative*/ match at Hagley Oval yesterday. Canterbury reached 208 for six at the end of the allotted 50 overs and dismissed the Suburban XI for 90 off 35 overs. Scores: Canterbury eighth grade 208/6 (B. Ayson . 24, S.. Curnow 32, G. Andrews 25, E. Cutts 34, T. Hooper "3$ n. 0.; G. Ayers 3/45, G. Morrel 2/39) beat Suburban third grade 90 (S. Cotton 34; Hooper 2/12, R. L. Schumacher 5/18. .
