No identification
The Christchurch police; have not been, able to make a positive identification of the elderly woman whe plunged more than 100 metres to her death from the cliffs at Sumner Head on Thursday. The body was badly dis- 1
figured. It might take unti : Monday for the police to firmly establish the woman’s identity and notify any next-of-kin, a spokesman said. The woman was believed to be aged 82. There were no suspicious circumstances.
