No solid plans — Robertson
PA Auckland The All Black centre Bruce Robertson, will stay with his former coach Barry Bracewell for a few days in Sydney/but he has no plans to settle in Australia. ' Robertson _ was commenting on a report from Sydney, which mentioned the prediction of the newspaper the "Australian,” that Robertson niay play for the Gordon club this season.
"It (the report) is based on' hypothesis really,” said Robertson last night. “There is not much fact in it.” Robertson said he would stay with Mr Bracewell, the former Counties coach, now the Gordon coach when he visited Sydney for the special festival game. This will be held in ’Sydney on April 4 when Robertson will play for an Overseas XV against Sydney. Robertson added that, ai this stage, it was • his intention to continue playing rugby for Counties • but he added: “If they came up with something while I was
there I would have to look at it.”
Robertson has -been preparing for the coming season since New Year’s Day.. He told Wellington’s “Dominion” newspaper that although he was not available for the AU Blacks should the Springboks tour, he would be willing to play against the touring Scottish side, which is due earlier.
“But non-availability for the Springbok series might make me unavailable for the games'-against the Scots,” he said.-
