Merino stud tour
A tour of about 10 Merino studs in Central Otago is planned for March 31 and April I,' and on March 30 another two studs in North Otago will be open for inspection. In a booklet about the tour the chairman of the Merino Breed Committee of the New Zealand Sheepbreeders’ Association, Mr B. J. The studs : that will be visited are I. D. Smith’s Glen Leith, C. J. Hores’s Stonehenge, A.D. and C. T. Paterson’s Armidale, I. R. Scott’s Pendella, Andrew Jopp’s Moutere, A. C. Sanders and Sons’ Matangi, B. J. Paterson’s Cairnmuir, the Estate H. Gibson’s Malvern Downs, W. D. Young’s Long Gully and J. H. Burdon’s Glen Dene.
The studs open for inspection on March 30 are those of R. T. Wardell at Omarama station and G. F. Bishop at Mount Otekaike.
