Livestock manager
Mr J. L. Russell has taken up the position of livestock export manager at the head office of Dalgety New Zealand Ltd in Wellington. He succeeds Mr J. V. Evans, who retired at the end of last year. Mr Russell joined the company at Dunedin in 1.953, and has been active in livestock and stud stock trading for over 25 years in the Waikato and Palmerston North. In 1968 he joined the Dalgety central stud stock department as a sheep and beef cattle officer, and was later stud stock officer at the Hamilton branch for four years. In 1973 he became Dalgety's manager at Papakura. serving there until his present appointment.
