“Men acted like animals”
Sir, — Was it a coincidence that in the course of court proceedings (“The Press,” February 20) the presiding Judge commented that the men in question had “behaved like animals,” when via TV we learn that a former stray cat has gained an award for his courageous attack on two intruders, thereby protecting his postmistress owner and property. The sickening incident of a lamb being stolen and then incinerated alive is added proof that man needs to' be more realistic and honest about himself and take re-sponsibility-for thoughts and deeds emanating from his
lower nature and not seek escape by likening them to our already much derided creatures of which I have yet to meet an ignoble one. — Yours, etc., (Mrs) ESTELLE WIN. February 25, 1981.
