Verdi’s ‘Falstaff’ Verdi’s prolific output of operas went on into his 70s and his last was “Falstaff,” first produced in 1893. Highlights from Acts' II and 111 of his “Falstaff” are featured in recordings which include such distinguished lead singers as Gerwaint Evans, Giulietta Simonato and Robert Merrill with the RCA Italiana Opera Orchestra under conductor Georg Solit.
