Soccer match on again
Christchurch Mogal United’s opening Rothmans Soccer League match against Gisborne City is on again — and this time the decision is final. The New Zealand Football Association had instructed United that the match had to be played, in spite of United’s problems in sorting out a suitable time and venue. . The game will be played at. English Park on Saturday evening. As a result a clash, with
Woolston W.M.C.’s first match, against Wellington Diamond United, on the same ground on Saturday afternoon has been avoided. However, English Park has already been booked for another function on Saturday evening, and no supporters will be permitted in the administration block. Only team officials and Canterbury Football Association members will be permitted in the downstairs section of. the block.
