Mrs Veil to visit
The president of the European Parliament (Mrs Simone Veil) and a delegation of 12 Parliamentarians will soon be in Christchurch. The delegation, led by Mr Hemmo Muntingh, of the Netherlands, and Mrs Veil, will be in Christchurch on February 28 and March 1. During their stay in. New Zealand Mrs Veil and the delegation will see New Zealand industries, visit educational and research institutions, and talk with N e w Zealand Parliamentarians.
Mrs Veil will be in New Zealand for five days, the delegation for .a week. In Canterbury they . will visit Lincoln College, a farm, and the Canterbury Museum.
