NZPA-Reuter Teheran This American freelance journalist, Cynthia Dwyer, held nine months in Iran ,as a spy, was deported, yesterday aboard an airliner bound for Dubai, Teheran airport police said. A Swiss diplomat, Flavio Meroni, told reporters at the airport that Mrs Dwyer, who is 49, would possibly travel on to Zurich on a connecting flight. He gave no details. A last-minute hitch on Monday deplayed the deportation. of Mrs Dwyer, who last week was convicted of espionage for the United States; and given a nine-month jail sentence, back-dated to the time of her arrest last May. '
