The boost in interest in oneday cricket this season might force the Canterbury Cricket Association to review its policy of playing limited-over fixtures outside Christchurch next year. This year the C.C.A. gave three of the one-day Shell Cup games to minor associations — South Canterbury, Ashburton and North Canterbury — as part of its policy for promoting the sport in those areas.
