Trojan out for season
Trojan, one of the more exciting pacing prospects seen in Canterbury in recent months, will not race for the remainder of the season. V . “He’s developed problems in a ligament and I’ve been told to put him aside for a couple of months. There wouldn’t be much left for him during the rest of the season so it’s been decided to give him a bit of extra time,” said Richard Brosnan, who trains the five-year-old at Kerrytown. Trojan made rapid progress through the classes this season, gaining six wins and four planings from his 10 starts.
