Kits for athletes
In' the last few days, voluntary workers have been busy preparing information kits for the 2500 athletes entered for the World Veteran Games, which open- at Queen Elizabeth II Park on January 7. Each kit contained seme 26 items, the publicity officer, Mr Lindsay Tointon, said.
About 3500 master programmes have been printed and are ready for distribution. In addition, daily programmes will be printed during the competition. The registration of athletes will thoroughly test the resources of the organisers, who are still looking for more helpers for this big task.
